Eileen Wang
Eileen Wang is currently a junior at Williamsville East High School and a member of Bridges from Border’s Student Advisory Committee. She was previously also a peer youth advocate and won the 2020-2021 Youth Achievement Competition with her team.
At school, Eileen serves as co-managing editor and treasurer of the newspaper club, as well as fundraising chairperson of the business club. Additionally, she is affiliated with multiple youth volunteer organizations and volunteers on a regular basis. Eileen has received multiple Presidential Service Awards for her dedication to serving the community.
Eileen is also passionate about her multilingual studies. As a second-generation Asian American, she finds great pride in learning Chinese as a way to stay connected to her roots. She passed the highest level in the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test and earned bronze and gold medals in the National French Contest.
As a member of the Student Advisory Committee, Eileen hopes to provide guidance and support to future community advocates, as well as to promote cultural diversity and inclusivity.
