Purnima Mohan

Purnima Mohan works at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) as Food as Medicine Program Coordinator to coordinate the Food as Medicine Research Study, by working with BNMC’s member institutions and community partners. She also works at WEDI as Economic Development coordinator & Team Leader where she works with business owners with diverse backgrounds at the West Side Bazaar by guiding them through the incubation process. She is also a facilitator at EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) and facilitates parenting workshops. In the past she has worked at Rich Products Corporation and Coca Cola India. 



She is involved with the PTSA at the Williamsville North High School and the Western Region. She is the VP of Membership for Downtown Toastmasters and is on the Erie County Arts and Cultural Advisory Board. She has volunteered with numerous nonprofits – Ronald McDonald House, Friends of the Night People, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper to name a few. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, teaching Spiritual values to young children singing, dancing, cooking and photography.
