AI For Good Youth Camp
AI for Good Youth Camp is a new youth-centered learning initiative co-created by Bridges from Borders (BFB) and the University at Buffalo Health AI Center. This immersive camp marks the beginning of an ongoing AI for Good journey—combining workshops and hands-on learning experiences for middle and high school students.
Through teamwork, creativity, and guided reflection, students will explore how artificial intelligence and technology can be used for positive social impact, especially in the area of health and well-being. No prior technical experience is required—curiosity, imagination, and collaboration are the most important skills.
Participants will:
- Learn foundational AI concepts in an age-appropriate, human-centered way
- Engage in hands-on teamwork, including 3D printing design and creative problem-solving
- Explore real-world examples and practices of AI-powered health innovations
- Reflect on ethical questions, personal values, and future possibilities
- Build confidence as future-ready thinkers, creators, and collaborators
This camp emphasizes belonging, creativity, and responsible innovation, aligning with BFB’s mission to empower youth to imagine and build a better future together.
Stay tuned for more camp opportunities in 2026!
