Anna Ngo Intern
Anna Ngo is an undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara studying Sociology and Applied Psychology from an intersectional lens. As a Los Angeles native born to immigrant and refugee parents, she has long harbored a passion for cross-cultural discourse regarding diaspora identity under white supremacy. However, it wasn’t until her transformative study abroad experience in Japan that expanded this interest into a professional desire to serve global communities.
She believes in challenging the notion of assimilation and what it means to be “American”, as well as tackling issues of cultural identity from the perspective of being acculturative global citizens.
