Peilun Chang Art Director
Peilun Chang, Doctor of Musical Arts, graduated from the Manhattan School of Music (MM) and the University of Cincinnati (DMA). The famous American publishing company Wayne Leupold Editions published her compositions. Those works are often included in CDs, concerts and radio stations internationally.
In 1993, she was the first Asia artist who held an Organ solo concert at the Central Concert Hall in Beijing, at the same year, she was interviewed by the Central People's Broadcasting Station and the concert program was broadcast throughout China. She also performed with many famous arts groups including international renowned Empire Brass quintet. In addition, Dr. Chang has extensive experience in choir directing and choral music arrangement. Before leading the Buffalo Chinese Chorus in Buffalo, she was the music director and conductor of the WNY Festival chorus for eight years.
She would like to use her experience, knowledge from the past to teach BFB choir, but looking forward to have more unique, positive experience to work with BFB. Hope the outcome benefits for all involved.
