Rachel Houng Intern
Rachel Houng is a junior at Hunter College and will intern for Bridges from Borders for this coming spring. She is a Mellon Public Humanities and Social Justice scholar passionate about Asian American advocacy and storytelling.
Rachel's enthusiasm lies in helping people tell their stories through their words. As a Linguistics and Rhetorics major in English, she believes in the power of using language to articulate lived experiences that can change the world. In her free time, she enjoys making arts and crafts projects or spending time with friends and family. She will be working with the TLA Action Club to help students share their stories. The goal of her team's event is to help Asian Americans talk about their identity.
